Summer Surf Camps

Big Groms Summer Surf Camps begin June 1st 2026 and run weekly June, July & August

Our surf camps are designed to create a safe, fun, and high-energy environment where students can learn to surf or take their skills to the next level. Each day is thoughtfully structured around ocean safety, skill development, surfing techniques, etiquette, and, of course, having an amazing time in the water.

For beginners, we focus on building a strong foundation. Students learn essential skills such as paddling, wave selection, popping up, and proper foot placement—everything needed to confidently catch and ride their first waves.

Intermediate surfers receive more advanced coaching, including how to drop in on the face of the wave, control speed, and choose the right board based on their size and ability. Our goal is to help each surfer progress with confidence and style.

We never cut corners when it comes to safety or instruction. Our experienced instructors are not only skilled surfers but dedicated coaches with years of ocean knowledge. With a low instructor-to-student ratio of 1:3, every participant receives personalized guidance and plenty of individual attention.

Where to meet:  Drop off and pick up is at Moonlight Beach

What to bring: Pack a snack and water each day along with a dry towel

Cost: $475 per week Monday thru Friday Morning: 9am-12pm Afternoon: 1pm-4pm and Private surf lessons

*We provide surfboards but students must have their own wetsuits
